Sitting on historic Esplanade Avenue on the edge of the French Quarter, the Melrose Mansion is the perfect setting for your New Orleans wedding. Our newly renovated luxury hotel is ideal for small intimate weddings in the courtyard area alongside our lush swimming pool or inside the beautifully decorated Victorian mansion.
Wedding parties have the option of hosting their ceremony and/or reception in our luxurious poolside courtyard or den area. Our den area inside of the mansion can comfortably accommodate up to 50 chairs for a ceremony. The poolside courtyard can accommodate up to 65 chairs for a ceremony. The large paved grounds alongside the Executive Suite building can host an outdoor wedding with seating for up to 80 people. Each space has the ability to transition into a reception venue within the same day, given adequate time.
For weddings and/or receptions, a “buy out” of the mansion along with all 21 suites is required. This provides you with the utmost privacy during your very special day and also provides you with access to utilize all public spaces throughout the mansion for your wedding day.
The Living or Den area in the front of the house features beautiful floor to ceiling windows overlooking the famous Esplanade Avenue as well as our porch leading out to our poolside courtyard area. A black granite closed fireplace compliments both the dark hard wood floors and the white walls with the original crown molding of the house. The pool side courtyard area is designed with grey- blue slate stones, as well as a concrete barrier hidden behind beautiful greenery between the pool area and the street to minimize the noise and provide extra privacy during your special event. As the evening approaches, one can only envision the spectacular view of the white house with the pool lights shining through the crystal blue waters.

Deposit & Payment Policy: 50% of the estimated total is due upon contract signing. The remaining balance is due 90 days prior to the event. All food and beverage & rentals are subject to a 10% sales tax.
